Dr. Benjamin Liptzin, Chair of Baystate Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry, received American Psychiatric Association's Jack Weinberg Memorial Award for Geriatric Psychiatry for his demonstrated leadership and outstanding work in clinical practice, training, or research in geriatric psychiatry. His award and honorarium will be presented at the APA Convocation in May 2011 in Honolulu.

The Jack Weinberg Award was established in 1983 in memory of past APA President, Jack Weinberg, MD.
