Pharmacy Residency Match: All of Baystate's PGY-1 Residency Slots Filled

PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Position Filled Via Early Commitment


Baystate Medical Center matched all five of its open PGY-1 pharmacy residency positions in the Pharmacy Residency Match in March 2013. The one PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy residency position was filled using the early commitment procedure. New pharmacy residents start their programs on July 1, 2013.


This year's Match had 3933 applicants. Pharmacy residencies are competitive—1,438 (37%) of this year's PGY-1 candidates and 176 (32%) PGY-2 candidates did not match.
