The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has awarded Barry Sarvet, MD, Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Jessica Wozniak, PsyD, Family Advocacy Center, a 4-year $1.6 million grant for their project "Therapy House Calls: Effective Treatment in the Home for Families Experiencing Trauma and Loss."
House Calls will improve access to evidence based trauma informed treatment for children and families participating in the program. Baystate's Family Advocacy Center is the lead agency and will partner with UMass Medical School, two local mental health centers, and Massachusetts’ military bases and Veteran’s Administration. |
