Education

Most speech-language-pathologist jobs require a masters degree. Students must also complete a clinical fellowship after graduate school.

Pre-requisites

Students must have completed coursework in neurology, dysphasia, phonology, language and diagnostic assessment, and have completed a previous outside placement and have worked with children. Prior to approval for a clinical experience, an interview may be required, as well as a cover letter and resume.

Length of Clinical Experience

Approximately 3-5 days per week for 3 months
