Career Description
Veterinary Technologist are trained as paraprofessional personnel who will assist veterinarians or serve in a variety of positions in animal research laboratories, state animal shelters, private practices or other facilities where animals are kept.
Education
Veterinary Technologists have at least an Associates Degree or Bachelors degree earned in an accredited Veterinary program.
Pre-requisites
Clinical experiences are arranged by the academic programs that are affiliated with BMC.
Length of Clinical Experience
Veterinary Technology students will participate in clinical experiences for approximately 3-6 months.
