Continuing Education Accreditation

Baystate Health provides high-quality, evidence-based continuing education to maintain and enhance the knowledge, competence, and performance of health care professionals, in order to improve the health of the people in our communities every day, with quality and compassion.

Our content is designed to be in harmony with the national healthcare agenda, particularly the focus on prevention of disease and the efficient delivery of care.  The educational activities we provide support learning and improvement and contribute to maintenance of certification, licensure, and hospital privileges.

The content is designed to support excellence in patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, systems-based practice, and leadership.  We address healthcare-related ethical, legal, political, and social issues.

With community coalitions and partnerships, we address the public health issues relevant to our community.

We develop innovative approaches for effective teaching and learning to facilitate the transfer of knowledge into daily clinical practice.
