The Baystate/Tufts Endocrinology fellowship program is dedicated to providing a well balanced, academic experience to its trainees.  The fellowship includes rotations on both inpatient and outpatient services as well as a large number of well attended conferences ranging from basic science, to pathology, and clinical case conferences.  A high faculty-to-fellow ration ensures a broad experience for our trainees.  The faculty and staff take pride in creating a friendly learning environment.

Curriculum Information

• Alternating monthly rotations between inpatient and outpatient services for both years
• Protected research time and introduction to research course
• Pediatric and reproductive endocrinology rotations
• Specialty Clinics:  diabetes mellitus, thyroid ultrasound and biopsy, lipids, osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, pediatric metabolic bone disease, podiatry, and ophthalmology
• Weekly Conferences: endocrine grand rounds, pathology, clinical case conference, core curriculum conference
• Monthly Conferences: clinical journal club, research conference
• Participation in monthly divisional meeting
• Participation in quarterly fellowship evaluation meeting
