Application Process
Applicant Requirements
- Applicants MUST have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3 in order to be considered.
- In addition, completion of a general surgery residency in the United States or Canada is required.
- All applicants are required to obtain a full Massachusetts license to practice medicine. For more information on what is required to obtain an unrestricted license in Massachusetts, please refer to the Board of Registration in Medicine's website at http://www.massmedboard.org).
- In addition, all fellowship candidates must fulfill Baystate's Resident & Fellow Appointment Requirements.
- We do not accept applicants who hold J-1 or H-1 visas.
Interviews
The 2011 dates are Thursday, September 29, Thursday, October 6, Friday, October 7 & Thursday, October 13.
