Baystate hosts more than 100 4th year medical students each year in more than 40 electives.

At Baystate, medical students are a valued part of the team.

We make every effort to meet the scheduling needs and learning objectives of interested students.
Our faculty and residents are committed to the education of medical students.
Students who participate in our clerkships are offered free on-campus housing (available on a first come, first served basis.)

Each 4th year elective is approximately 4 weeks in length. 

AY 2010 - 2011 open enrollment for visiting students begins May 3, 2010.
