Pediatric Subspecialties

Location:   Baystate High Street Health Center, 140 High Street, Springfield, MA

Goals

Student will participate in a four week elective with exposure to multiple subspecialties: pulmonary, endocrinology, cardiology, neurology, and allergy.

Objectives

The student will…

  • have exposure to various pediatric subspecialties.
  • gain experience in pediatric urgent care cases.
  • have direct patient contact in the outpatient setting under the supervision of various subspecialty attendings.
  • attend regular pediatric teaching conferences including Grand Rounds and resident or student educational conferences.
