PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Curriculum

The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program is designed to provide exposure to all aspects of pharmacy practice while allowing the resident to customize the residency to desired practice areas.

  • Internal Medicine I

  • Infectious Diseases
  • Medication Safety and Informatics
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Elective Rotation/Repeat Core Rotation

Elective Rotations (4 Week Duration; Choose 1)

  • Repeat Any Core Rotation
  • Internal Medicine II
  • Adult Critical Care II
  • Pediatrics II (NICU/PICU)
  • Antimicrobial Stewardship

Ambulatory Care

  • 4 months - Pharmacotherapy Clinic
