Hey and welcome!

I’m Peter. I’m from Michigan and went to the University of Michigan for undergrad. I then picked up and headed for Harlem and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine for med school. Now,  I'm settling into life in New England for my residency and I couldn't be happier.

When I was looking for the perfect place for residency, I felt like Goldilocks looking for the porridge that was just right. I was looking for training in an urban ED, but I also wanted to live someplace with easy access to the outdoors. I was yearning to be challenged everyday that I went to work but I didn’t want to sacrifice my family.  Access to great resources like fellowships and research was important if I decided to pursue a career in academics, but I also wanted to be comfortable if I decided to head out into the community setting. Above all else, I wanted to be someplace where everyone was happy. When it came down to it, there was no other program that fit the bill like Baystate.

The match process can be intimidating and filled with uncertainty. If you go into it with an open mind, however, you may just find the perfect fit for you (I know I did!). I can’t wait to meet you all and wish you all the best in the match!
