Hi, I'm Kathleen Kerrigan. I am originally from New York (state).  I have lived, worked, and gone to school in Virginia, New York, Michigan and Massachusetts.  Most recently my husband, two children and our dog relocated from Cape Cod to central Massachusetts.  I would love to say it was easy to leave the beach and start working in Springfield, but...I would be fibbing!  What I can say about my short time at Baystate is that it is one of the kindest places to work!  The attendings are concerned about teaching and the residents care about each other.  You cannot walk down the hall without someone smiling or saying hello.  There is truly an underlying vibe of niceness.  The clinical experience is hands on and vast.  I have no doubt that we will emerge extremely well trained.
