Following in family footsteps, Francisco decided he could contribute to society by helping to build healthy lives, hence his journey toward a medical career.  Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Francisco enrolled in the University Central del Caribe School of Medicine, where he found internal medicine to be the most challenging and his interest and desire for internal medicine has grown. Francisco has an extensive record of community service through participation in multiple community health clinics in Puerto Rico in collaboration with community-based organizations and student organizations.  In his free time he enjoys traveling, sports, dancing and public speaking.
