Upon graduation from medical school, Amin performed his internship in a public health clinic in Iran.  During this time, he participated in research at the Allergy Research Center in Iran and has authored several publications.  He later decided to pursue internal medicine and began training in Australia and has completed his residency training at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Melbourne, Australia.  Having fulfilled all requirements to work in the Australian health care system, Amin chose to continue training in the United States in order to be close to his family.  Following his residency training here, he plans on a career in hematology-oncology or critical care medicine.  He speaks fluent Persian.
