Medical School: El-Arab Medical University, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya       Image

Randa was born and raised in  Libya. Due to Randa’s sense of adventure and mischief as a child, she spent her fair share of time being bandaged and stitched back together. It was here that her interest in medicine began. At a very young age, due to an illness, the hospital became her home away from home and her excitement and fascination grew. She liked being “surrounded by all of these people who were compassionate and had interesting things to do all day”. At age seven, her interest in medicine began to develop into a life-long passion. She put the mischief behind her and began to study. She entered Al-Arab Medical University with “zeal” to learn everything she could. In her final year of school she was ranked the number one student. She feels Internal Medicine is where all the branches of medicine come together. Some of Randa’s interests include watching movies, listening to music, dancing and traveling.
