Anna was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Her interest in medicine has taken her across three continents in the last six years. Before medical school she spent time in Costa Rica aiding the delivery of medical treatment to plantation workers. As a medical student she travelled throughout Ireland, gaining an excellent education in Dublin and many of the country’s rural communities. In Canada and the United States she participated in clinical electives within the field of General Medicine and Cardiology. Through her journey she continues to be excited and inspired by interesting and complex patients. Anna speaks intermediate Polish and is a beginner in Spanish. She enjoys skiing, traveling and playing volleyball. |
