Joshua did his undergraduate studies at Beaver College and Cornell University, earning his BS in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cornell. Prior to attending medical school, he worked as a volunteer EMT, and began his medical education at Temple prior to the completion of requirements for his paramedic certification. During his third year of medical school, he turned his focus to Internal Medicine, viewing it as a way to care for the “whole patient.” Joshua also has done extensive volunteer work, some of which was providing medical care to rural Appalachian populations. Joshua will obtain his medical degree in May. He speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys sports-related hobbies.
