Naweed Al Zaman, MD

Medical School: King Abdul Aziz University, Saudi Arabia       Image

Naweed cites two strong reasons for his desire to become a physician: patients’ stories told to him by his physician grandfather, and watching his mother suffer with rheumatoid arthritis. During his 4th year of medical school, Naweed decided to pursue Internal Medicine because of its challenge in gathering and linking disparate pieces of information. After earning his medical degree, Naweed received post-graduate clinical training in Saudi Arabia and here in the US. With a solid background in Internal Medicine, Naweed aspires to pursue fellowship training in Endocrinology. He is fluent in Arabic, Hindi and Urdu, and enjoys fishing, swimming and bowling.
