Philip Huh, MD

Medical School: University of Connecticut School of Medicine       Image

During the course of his medical school career, Philip served as a volunteer in UConn’s student-run free medical clinics, providing aid to migrant farm workers, and to the homeless in Hartford. He also has performed missionary work, teaching English, math and science at an international school in the African nation of Eritrea. These experiences, and others, have shaped his personal approach to patient care, treating a patient as an individual with a life and a family. Philip was awarded the Dean’s Circle Scholarship while at UConn, where he was a member of the Health Ethics Committee. An avid Green Bay Packers fan, Philip enjoys sports, reading, playing the guitar, and traveling. He is fluent in German and Korean.
