Jean completed his undergrad studies at Tulane University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in History and Cell & Molecular Biology.  As an undergrad, Jean graduated Cum Laude and was on the Dean’s List.  

Following college, Jean worked at Chuck House Motorsports as a motorcycle mechanic and he races motorcycles in his free time.  He has taught Karate and was President of the Tulane Karate Club.  

In medical school, Jean was a BLS instructor for the American Heart Association and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.  Jean is fluent in French.  After receiving his M.D, Jean spent a year in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane.  

Besides motorcycle racing and karate, Jean enjoys photography.
