Eva grew up in Western New York and graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and Spanish.  She successfully completed the post-baccalaureate program at the University Of Buffalo School of Medicine and entered medical school in the fall of 2007.  While at college she participated in a medical mission to the Dominican Republic which solidified her interest in medicine.  

She is also very interested in African dance and spent some time in Ghana studying West African dance.  She has been extremely active in the wider medical school community, served as co-president of the Student National Medical Association and is a member of several other medical student organizations.  

She enjoys dancing, yoga, music and travel.
