We know Amber well as she did a 4th year med-peds elective at Baystate. She graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and German studies. She was named to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Dean’s List and the All-Academic All-Conference Team for soccer. Amber has been on medical mission trips to El Salvador and Mexico, and has been active in community outreach. She sat on the Board of Directors of Nehemiah Ministries in Springfield, Massachusetts, a neighborhood based organization where members intentionally live in low-income areas and provide a multitude of services to the community. Amber was named Student Doctor of the Year and was voted by her medical class as “most likely to change the face of medicine”. She enjoys international travel, modern art and film, and hiking.
