Jessie did her undergraduate studies at the same institution. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the presidential scholarship for academic merit. Jessie has worked with the World Health Organization in Uganda, Rwanda, and the DR Congo and spent time in Haiti providing medical care. She worked for several years during college as a mentor to at-risk youth and at group homes for mentally disabled adults. Her hobbies and interests include athletics, playing flag football for her med school, kayaking, running and equestrian sports. She also enjoys reading philosophy and classic literature. |
