Krista completed her undergraduate education at the College of William and Mary where she received a B.A. in German Studies.  During her junior year, she studied German literature in Muenster, Germany.  Krista returned to Germany as an English instructor prior to matriculating at Eastern Virginia Medical School.  In medical school, Krista volunteered for a local homeless shelter, organized events for health fairs and was an officer in the Family Medicine Interest Group.  During her fourth year, she was elected to AOA.  She is interested in many career opportunities including academic and hospitalist medicine as well as primary care Med-Peds.  Krista is fluent in German and enjoys jogging, travel and skiing.
