Melody is a native of Jackson Wyoming who completed her undergraduate studies at University of San Diego where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Biology.  Melody has worked as a manager’s assistant in a medical laboratory preparing the lab for accreditation.  As well, she has worked as a tutor, and nursing assistant working with the elderly.  Her volunteer experiences include Habitat for Humanity, Magis Clinic (a free clinic run by Creighton students), and One World Clinic working with the underserved Hispanic population in Omaha.  At present, Melody’s long-range plan is to become a pediatric intensivist and to work with Doctors Without Borders providing medical care to underserved communities.  Her hobbies & interests include intramural sports, swimming, camping, hiking, photography & animals (especially laborador retrievers).
