The Baystate Resident Spouse Association (BRSA) welcomes the spouses/significant others and families of residents and fellows, as well as recent graduates of Baystate Medical Center's graduate medical education programs. 

BRSA can help ease your transition to the Springfield Area and this phase in your life. Our members understand the unique challenges of medical training - call schedules, exhausted residents/fellows, relocating to a new area, job searches and family adjustments, to name a few.

Monthly Events

From play dates to sporting events, BRSA plans fun monthly events designed to give residents, fellows and their families the opportunity to socialize outside of work, have fun and foster long-lasting friendships. View our calendar.

• Monthly Meetings - Regular gatherings of members to socialize and discuss current topics
• Adult Activities - Sporting events, wine tasting, couple socials, book club, holiday parties
• Family Activities - Playgroups, BBQs, family-centered sporting events, playground picnics, holiday parties

All events are planned and hosted by our members.

BRSA members represent many different departments within Baystate, and live in many different towns and cities throughout the Pioneer Valley.  We are available to answer any questions you may have about relocating to the Pioneer Valley:
