Rochelle completed her undergraduate work at the University of Maryland in Physiology and Neurobiology. She participated in a marine biology research project during that time as well as working summers in a research lab at the Shriners Burn Research Institute in Boston. She then entered medical school at Ben-Gurion Medical School for International Health (in collaboration with Columbia University). In addition to her studies, she mentored several third year remedial students, provided support for a 5 year old with congenital CMV, coordinated a cross-cultural workshop and sang in an acapella group. After graduation she pursued an MPH in Preparedness and Public Health Practice at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has also continued her work in research. Rochelle enjoys travel, writing and theater. She is fluent in French, Spanish and Hebrew. |
