Susan is a Massachusetts native who did her undergraduate work at UMass Amherst, graduating summa cum laude in psychology.  Susan pursued a capstone project creating a partial three-dimensional model of the brain that was later uploaded to the Tufts University Science Knowledgebase (TUSK).  During her undergraduate years she also worked as a private photographer as well as in the University administrative office.  While at Tufts she volunteered at the Sharewood Project, a clinic for the underserved.  She has a new puppy.  Her fiancé is a computer animator.
