Lesha Shah, MD

Lesha Shah received her BA from Columbia University's Barnard College in Political Science, and received her MD from Ross University School of Medicine in April 2010. Prior to residency, she had been involved in a wide range of projects including: a study of attachment between mothers pregnant and widowed on 9/11 and their children, HIV services in Dominica, genetic linkage studies in partial epilepsy, and cell/developmental neuroscience. Lesha has also been active in national organizations, including the executive board of the Ross University Chapter of the American Medical Students Association and the Ross University liaison for Physicians for Human Rights. She enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling (especially walking tours).
