I was born in Beijing, China but I spent most of my childhood in the suburbs of Connecticut where my parents still live. After high school, I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at Cornell University. Then I spent a year as a postbac fellow studying cancer genetics at the National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. before starting medical school at New York Medical College. I stayed there to complete my intern year at Westchester Medical Center and I'm looking forward to the next four years of residency at Baystate.
