Lindsay’s undergraduate degree was earned at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada where she earned a degree in Biomedical Sciences. In medical school she was awarded the Walter M. Winters Scholarship. She participated in the Child Family Health Initiative in Durban, South Africa. In Durban Lindsay took part in the education of patients and community members regarding HIV/AIDS with concentration on management and impact on society. 

Lindsay’s hobbies include hiking, biking, camping, international development, photography and painting.
