I was born at the Okpara Nursing home, now known as The Federal Medical Center, Owerri, Nigeria. I grew up in  Owerri and attended the renowned Holy Ghost College proudly known as “Arugo” – the body of the eagle. I completed my B Sc. in year 2000, graduating with honors in Biochemistry at Imo State University in Owerri, Nigeria, then proceeded to Medical School at The University of Calabar,  Nigeria.

As a medical student, I founded The Federation of Igbo Medical Students in Calabar, Nigeria,an association recognized for promoting academic exellence amongst medical students. I thereafter completed a one year internship with some research work  at the prestigious Institute of Tropical disease research and Prevention, University of Calabar ,Nigeria. I also volunteered his medical services to charity health missions such as “compassion in action” in the rural villages, and participated in volunteer run community programs.

I migrated to the United States in 2008 and had a one year internship in General Surgery at The University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

In my spare time, I like to work-out, and watch inspirational movies. I also enjoy going out with friends for a drink and other outdoor social activities. I love listening to good music, travelling and spending time with family.
