Dustin graduated cum laude from the University of Texas with a BS in Biology. He was a member of the Alpha Chi Honors Society and the Golden Key National Honor Society, and was awarded the Academic Excellence Award from the College of Science. In medical school, Dustin participated in a variety of activities including involvement in community outreach through the Northside Health Fair, The Hispanic wellness fair, and the Cowtown Marathon. 

Dustin’s interests include international travel, rock climbing, technology and physical fitness.
