I was born and raised in New Delhi, India. I spent my childhood and early teenage years mostly playing soccer, cricket and tennis. I moved to Ahmedabad, India in Aug of 1997 after finishing school to begin my medical education at B.J Medical School. Initial medical school days were fun and that is when I met my future wife who was in my Physiology class. I soon realized that Radiology was the field I wanted to pursue. I started my Radiology residency after finishing my internship in 2003. I was certified in 2006 and received my Radiology Diploma (DMRD).
I returned to New Delhi in 2006 after completing the medical school and Radiology residency. I did senior residency in Radiology until May of 2008 in New Delhi, India before starting my preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center.
I am excited to begin my radiology residency as I know I am going to enjoy it thoroughly. One of my goals would be to gather enough residents /staff so we are able to enjoy a day of cricket on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon. |
