Our Goals

• Integrating GIS into a hospital’s information infrastructure to support the delivery of the right information to the right people at the right time and in the right format, and that will support the understanding of current situations and facilitate operational, core-critical decision making, and research.

• Contributing significant new knowledge in the areas of clinical medicine, epidemiology and healthcare information technologies through innovative application of GIS in healthcare.

• Establishing regional and national partnerships in healthcare, public health, homeland security, academia, and industry.
