Baystate Medical Center, Baystate Franklin Medical Center and Baystate Mary Lane Hospital work through the Community Benefits program to address health and social needs within the communities they serve. 

The Community Health Planning department works with the Community Benefits Advisory Councils at each of our hospitals to identify and respond to the unmet needs of the communities they serve by:

• Formalizing their approaches to community benefits planning
• Collaborating with community representatives to identify and create programs that address those needs
• Issuing an annual report to the Massachusetts Attorney General on their efforts.
