Ms. Ahn oversees the Strategic Planning and Business Development functions for Baystate Health, which includes the development of strategies and supporting plans to advance Baystate’s new vision and positively position the health system for the future.
Prior to joining Baystate in November 2012, Ms. Ahn was the System Director of Planning and Business Development at Yale New Haven Health System, based in New Haven, Connecticut. Previous to that, she served in functions such as Director of Planning and Business Development and HIPAA Project Director & System Privacy Officer. She has over 15 years of experience in health care.
Ms. Ahn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Wellesley College and her Master’s degree in Health Administration from Cornell University. She completed the American College of Healthcare Executives’ (ACHE) Executive Education Program in 2010 as an awardee of the Toshiba America Medical Systems Scholarship. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a recent past Board member and Co-Chair of the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives, and a 2013 recipient of the ACHE Service Award which recognizes contributions to healthcare management excellence. She currently serves on the American College of Healthcare Executives ache.org Editorial Board, as well as the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts.
