Nancy Shendell-Falik provides leadership in the development of a comprehensive operating strategy for Baystate Medical Center with a focus on the Patient Care Services Division. She is accountable for the effective leadership and management of the delivery of health services in partnership with the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, Baystate Health.
She has over 20 years experience in driving improvements in quality of patient care, patient volume, hospital efficiencies and patient and staff satisfaction. She was the NJ recipient of the Governor’s Nursing Merit Award in 2002, NJ Organization of Nurse Executives Nurse Executive Award in 2006 and Executive Women of NJ Salute to the Policy Maker Award in 2008.
Ms. Shendell-Falik earned a bachelor’s degree of nursing from Rutgers College and a master of arts degree in nursing administration from New York University. She is a Fellow of Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Program, an advanced leadership program for nurses in senior executive roles who aspire to help lead and shape the U.S. healthcare system.
