As President and Chief Executive Officer of Health New England, Inc., Peter F. Straley oversees a health insurance company providing coverage to more than 95,000 Western Massachusetts  residents.

Prior to joining Health New England, Mr. Straley served as Chief Executive of Baycare Health Partners, a large physician-hospital organization, as a management consultant for a national health care strategy firm and as an information systems executive.

Mr. Straley earned his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College , Middlebury , Vermont ; and an MBA from University  of Massachusetts , Amherst , Massachusetts .
