Here are a few ideas to help get you started:
- Listen to music while you’re thinking to help boost your creativity.
- Choose a name that will make you smile when you hear it.
- Consider names of favorite pets or book, TV, or movie characters.
- Work on this project when you’re happy; then you’ll come up with a happy name!
- The name should be easy to remember and say.
- Shorter is usually better.
- Make this a family activity. Work together to come up with an idea.
- Flip through magazines, books, and other publications for inspiration.
- Think about names that appeal to kids and teens of all ages.
- Try brainstorming; give yourself a time limit just to write down as many ideas as you can think of as fast as you can, then choose the one you like best for your entry.
- Be creative and have fun!
Remember, only one entry per child, teen, or young adult age 5-21.
