Services Include:

Chief among the urogynecologic conditions we treat are:

Urinary incontinence - the inability to control the passage of urine.
Pelvic Organ Prolapse - when the pelvic floor muscles become weak or damaged and can no longer support the pelvic organs.
Minimally Invasive Urogynecologic Surgery for hysterectomies.
Fecal Incontinence - the inability to control one's bowels.
Interstitial cystitis/Painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS) - recurring discomfort or pain in the bladder and surrounding pelvic region.

About Our Practice:

Baystate Urogynecology was created as a new Baystate Medical Practice in the fall of 2009 to offer specialized services that patients had formerly received from Baystate Wesson Women's Group.

Dr. Oz Harmanli, the chief of our urogynecology and pelvic surgery division, offers complete diagnosis and treatment options that are minimally invasive with faster return to regular activity for women with pelvic disorders such as urinary incontinence and prolapse (bulging or falling) of the vagina, bladder or the uterus. In our Continence Center, our specialized nurse, Eileen Bryson, provides behavioral therapy, pelvic muscle rehabilitation, and biofeedback for these women.

Dr. Keisha Jones comes to Baystate from Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where she completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed her internship and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut, and earned a masters of science in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh.

We participate in most insurance programs offered in our area.

If you have commercial insurance coverage, primary or secondary, we will submit a claim to your insurance carrier. You are responsible for all balances due after your insurance company pays its portion, as well as for any co-payments required by your insurance company at the time of the visit.
