About Our Practice:

Baystate Geriatric Medicine provides comprehensive and compassionate primary care to adults over 65.  We assist patients who may have multiple and complex medical conditions such as memory loss, fall risk, osteoporosis and urinary incontinence.

We assign each patient to a medical team that works together to provide quality medical care.  Each team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, medical assistants and clerical staff.  An internal medicine physician currently training in geriatric medicine at Baystate Medical Center provides all primary care.  Patients also see a supervising physician who is board certified in geriatric medicine.

Physicians refer patients as needed to specialists at Baystate Medical Center as well as to Baystate Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, Greater Springfield Senior Services, and specialty programs such as the Memory Disorders and the Urinary Incontinence programs at Baystate.

We are a bilingual teaching practice affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine.

Specialty:  Geriatrics
