Services Include:

Consultative services and care for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, recurrent skin infections, bone infections (osteomyelitis), Lyme disease, and travel-related illnesses.

   
About Our Practice:

Baystate Pediatric Infectious Diseases ¿  A Baystate Children's Hospital Practice offers consultative services and care for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of infectious diseases, including recurrent skin infections, bone infections (osteomyelitis), Lyme disease, and travel-related illnesses.  Our multidisciplinary team includes nurse case managers, a social worker, and a peer educator for the care of HIV/AIDS illness in families.  We perform inpatient consultations in all areas of Baystate Children's Hospital and offer follow up care when necessary in the subspecialty Ambulatory Care Center at 3300 Main Street.  Our patients and families have access to all the facilities and programs of Baystate Children's Hospital.  Our physicians are all board certified in pediatric Infectious Diseases and are faculty members of Tufts University School of Medicine Western Campus.  

 
Insurance

We participate in most insurance programs offered in our area.

If you have any questions about whether your specific health plan covers our services, please call the toll-free number on the back of your insurance member ID card.

 

If you have commercial insurance coverage, primary or secondary, we will submit a claim to your insurance carrier. You are responsible for all balances due after your insurance company pays its portion, as well as for any co-payments required by your insurance company at the time of the visit.
