BRL Business Development representatives service accounts on a regular basis to meet client needs, communicate any new pertinent information, and provide inservice and training on new procedures. Our BRL representatives will arrange for inservicing for new and existing clients in special techniques of specimen collection, preparation and handling.

Stat and Per Call Pick-ups

Per call pick-ups are provided outside our drivers regular schedule. Specimens requiring immediate processing will be picked up stat. Arrangements can be made by calling 413-322-4000 or 1-800-778-5599 twenty-four hours per day.

 

Frozen Specimens

If a frozen specimen is to be picked up, the sample should be transferred to a plastic tube and placed in the freezer section of your refrigerator. It is advisable that a duplicate frozen specimen be retained in your office for further confirmation, if necessary. Do not freeze specimen(s) in glass containers.

 

Courier Services

BRL provides daily or per call pick-up and delivery service Monday through Saturday. A convenient pick-up time will be established that meets each facility's requirements. BRL representatives are trained to be prompt, courteous, and responsive to our clients' needs. Lock boxes will be provided for after hours specimen pick-ups.
