Ware, MA (May 24, 2013) – “There are few areas more important to a community than emergency medical services,” said Dr. Richard Gerstein, Chair of Emergency Medicine at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. “EMS providers work countless hours to ensure that our community members have access to highly skilled, quality emergency care.”
“We are proud to offer monthly training to our area EMS providers,” said Dr. Gerstein. Annually, our training program provides EMTs in our communities training opportunities that provide the credits necessary to maintain their certification.
On June 5, Emergency Department physician, Dr. Paul Gerstein, will present Risk Management for EMS Providers beginning at 6:30 pm in the Main Conference Room.
Classes offered by the Baystate Mary Lane Hospital EMT Continuing Education Program are offered free of charge as part of Baystate Mary Lane’s ongoing commitment to local Emergency Medical Providers and are held on the First Wednesday of every month, unless otherwise noted, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Main Conference Room located on the second floor.
