The Campaign for Patient Care was established to allow Baystate Mary Lane Hospital to continue important programs and services for patients and their families. Funds raised will help to provide enhanced technology and equipment to better serve the many patients the hospital cares for annually.
Each year, Baystate Mary Lane Hospital’s staff members care for more than 16,500 Emergency Room patients, perform more than 200,000 outpatient tests and procedures, and more than 900 surgeries. “Baystate Mary Lane Hospital effectively touches the lives of people who live and work in our community, standing ready 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week to provide care close to home when it is needed,” said Christine Shirtcliff, President. “We have received numerous awards for innovative clinical programming and patient satisfaction in such areas as Women & Infants, Oncology, Medical Surgical and Outpatient Surgery. Staff expertise, dedication, and attention to detail have driven these achievements and earned the community’s trust.”
Once again County Bank is taking the lead and is posing a “Challenge to the Community” to match this contribution and participate in sustaining the critical medical services provided close to home. Baystate Mary Lane Hospital’s relationship with Country Bank spans more than 20 years and is a wonderful example of how repeat investments with philanthropic gifts improve the health and well being of the Baystate Mary Lane community. County Bank has made cumulative contributions of more than $500.000, funding strategic initiatives throughout the hospital. “The importance and the luxury of having a healthcare facility right in our community are immeasurable. As a business leader I believe that Baystate Mary Lane Hospital makes Ware and the surrounding towns a more desirable place to live and work – please consider a donation to this worthwhile campaign.” said Paul Scully, President, Country Bank.
Through its philanthropic partnership with BMLH, Country Bank is demonstrating its commitment to the health of the people of our community. If you are interested in making a donation please contact the Development Office at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital at 413-967-2458. |
