Ware, MA (November 18, 2011) - As part of Baystate Mary Lane Hospital’s (BMLH) monthly continuing education program for emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, Dr. Jeffrey Gutterman will present will present Life Threatening Cardio-Thoracic Emergencies on Wednesday, November 30. This lecture will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Main Conference Room, located on the 2nd floor of the hospital.
Dr. Gutterman is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and has been providing emergency care at the hospital for over 10 years. He joins the team of dedicated physicians who share their expertise in emergency medicine by offering training and continuing education programs to the EMS providers who deliver pre-hospital care in the community.
“The monthly lectures offered by our emergency medicine specialists are intended to help area EMS personnel stay up-to-date on critical topics and meet their continuing education requirements necessary for maintaining EMS certification,” notes Dr. Richard Gerstein, Chair of Emergency Medicine at the hospital. “Our close working relationships with these professionals is essential to ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care both in the field and on arrival at the hospital,” notes Dr. Gerstein.
