  • Stability — Our hospice program has been available for more than 20 years.  We also have stability in our staffing with more than half of our current hospice staff having five or more years of services with us, and one-third of our staff having been with us for more than ten years.

  • Expertise — Our medical director is a geriatrician who is certified in Hospice and Palliative Care.  Many of our hospice nurses and hospice aids have also worked to become certified in Hospice and Palliative Care from the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization.

  

  • Quick response — Most admissions are processed within 24 hours of request, and some can be done with four hours of request, even on weekends and holidays.

  

  • Comprehensive services — Our staff is highly skilled to be able to provide care to patients with compolex technical needs.  In addition to our staff of professional nurses, social works, spiritual counselors, and hospice aides, our Volunteer program includes other professional services, such as Reiki, massage, music therapy, pet therapy, and hair styling.

  

  • Continued quality improvement — We have an extensive evidence-based quality improvement program in which all staff are involved.
