Discovering that a child has a medical problem often causes the child, and their families, great stress and heartache.

In collaboration with the pediatric medical specialists, Baystate Behavioral Health & Child Behavioral Health offers comprehensive psychiatric and psychological services for children, adolescents, and their families facing acute and chronic medical conditions.

Outpatient services available include:

- Family, group, and individual therapy

- Psychological Testing

- Biofeedback

- Psychiatric care for patients ages 2 - 18

We serve children with a wide variety of medical and psychiatric conditions such as:

- Cardiac disorders

- Cancer

- Blood disorders

The Central Intake Service at Baystate Medical Center provides a confidential link for patients, families and providers for easy access to our services, including a streamlined referral system to quickly initiate treatment. Our intake coordinators at 413-794-5555 will assist with information and recommendations about the appropriate level of care needed, insurance verification and pre-authorizations for care.
